Blogging Experience

I never thought I would write a blog, but now I write the tenth post. At first, I was not very interested in the idea of publishing these texts, but I must admit that it is much more fun to do this than to read a sheet with incomplete sentences in English. About my writing skills, I do not know if they improved a lot, I say, I still consider myself a fool for English and I already knew how to write relatively coherent texts, but I learned some things that I'm sure I would not have learned from "the traditional way". Without a doubt, one of the best things about this was being able to read the publications of others, whether they were true or false what they wrote, I was struck by each of their posts. Now I can not think of what topics could be written in the future, maybe food... or hobbies. Another aspect about which I had not thought about blogs is the responsibility that is given to the student to write weekly, which is better demonstrated than just completing ...

Tales of Otori: Across the Nightingale Floor

I love stories, whether they are told in books, movies, series, radio shows, anime, etc. and I find it quite difficult to choose my favorite among all of them but of all of them I would like to write about a series of books that I have loved since childhood. Tales of the Otori is a series of historical fantasy novels by Gillian Rubinstein (under the pseudonym Lian Hearn), set in a fictional world based on feudal Japan and through five books tells the story of the Otori lineage. The first book, Across the Nightingale Floor , is about a 16-year-old boy named Tomasu, member of The Hidden, a peaceful town that one day is invaded and  massacred by Iida Sadamu ( leader of the Tohan ) and his men. In his escape through the mountains he meets Shigeru, who decides to take the child as his protege, changing his name to Takeo and from that moment will be trained to take revenge while discovering the secrets of his blood.
