Personal Opinions

What is your opinion about the legalization of guns?

Regarding the legalization of weapons, I find that it is a very bad idea because many untrained people would have access to deadly equipment (because the control and supervision of sales would not be the most efficient), in addition, dangerous groups would have the ability to arm themselves en masse and completely take over sectors of the cities. Many people would buy weapons without knowing how to use them, which would be much more dangerous than not having them which would aggravate domestic accidents ... and not to mention the people who would use it against their family at the time of the arguments.

What is your opinion about “barras bravas” (hooligans)?

On the subject of hooligans I think it is one of the worst things that football has in general, they do not contribute at all, they only provoke disastrous and prevent families from going to stadiums safely.

What is your opinion about legalizing abortion in some cases?

About legalizing abortion I agree that each woman can decide on her own body, that neither the context, hospitals or "morally correct" doctors have authority in a body that does not belong to them (and it definitely won't cause "ethical chaos" as many people claim), so I believe in free abortion without exception.

Those are some of my opinions on some issues, what is yours?

  1. You're right, i think legalization of free having of guns would be a danger for the society, and the hooligans really ruins football and stigmatize it as a violent event itself. About abortion, i don't consider myself as a conservative person, as i agree with equal marriagment, the legalization of cannabis (althoug i don't consume it) and even euthanasia in some case, but on this issue specifically i think that as humanity we can do better than aborting the eventual victims of our social problems.

The best holidays I've had

Frankly I have not had a very remarkable holidays, but the one I like to remember is when with my family (my parents, brother and sister) toured the north of Chile. It was in the summer of 2008, we start in Santiago and move on until we reach Arica. We passed through the big cities of the regions and tourist places of each place, like Humberstone, La mano del desierto, Valle de la Luna, etc. Somedays it was just a car ride, although with stops in a row, because my brothers and I were very small and we couldn't stay calm for long time and other days we would dedicate ourselves to touring the places, eating local food, taking many photos, going to the beaches, taking walks in the squares and parks. The trip lasted two weeks (it was all my father's vacation) and those are the most beautiful memories of my childhood, those always make me smile, especially for remembering the nonsense we did and for the wonder of touring a large part of the country, which at that time for me was so...

My Favourite Piece of Technology

Without a doubt, my favourite piece of technology is the cell phone. I like it because they are easy to transport, useful and practical. I personally occupy the phone practically all day; to listen to music, watch videos, search for information or just the waste time on the internet. I remember that my first cell phone was given to me by my father around seven years old, I barely understood how it worked and I practically only used it to play snake, since then I change it every couple of years. I must admit that it is an important part of my daily life, however I could live without it, I would no longer be "connected to the internet world", but I could take that time to read a book. Of course it would be different, but it would not be a bad option either.

Changes to my study program

Many times in college I would think or mention things about the subject when talking to my friends, but with the online semesters those ideas had disappeared, but here we go… I think that the curriculum, the workload and the duration of the studies is well distributed at the semester level, with a period of "recess" before the final exams and a good number of evaluations in each subject. In the same way, I think the teaching methods are quite good, but I would change some teachers, since although it has been repeatedly said that they do not get along with the students, they change their places or simply leave them without solving the issue of the problem and does not give a good environment to attend class or study. About the faculty infrastructure, they could put more places to eat, preferably enabled for cool days, eating outside at the tables is nice, but when it rains and there is wind a simple awning does not help much. Another change they could make is to fix the ...
